In Quang Tri, we are working with the NGO " Aide au Vietnam"(AAV), based in Luxembourg. AAV was started in 2000 by two vietnamese residents of Luxembourg, Tùng and Hà, together with Maggy Menné, a retired bank employee and Claude Kirsch, a Luxembourg customs official. They work with a number of projects in Vietnam including support for poorer and underprivileged families and medical assistance in Ho Chi Minh City.

| They were approached by a group of citizens and monks in the region of
Quang Tri who needed help to construct schools. In a pilot project, AAV financed the construction of three buildings which were inaugurated on the 26th of October
2006. The plan is to construct seven more. Through your help, Pix-Aid
would like to try to raise funds to construct three of these schools. |
