Pix Aid

In Quang Tri, we are working with the NGO "Aide au Vietnam"(AAV), based in Luxembourg. AAV was started in 2000 by two vietnamese residents of Luxembourg, Tùng and Hà, together with Maggy Menné, a retired bank employee and Claude Kirsch, a Luxembourg customs official. They work with a number of projects in Vietnam including support for poorer and underprivileged families and medical assistance in Ho Chi Minh City.

They were approached by a group of citizens and monks in the region of Quang Tri who needed help to construct schools. In a pilot project, AAV financed the construction of three buildings which were inaugurated on the 26th of October 2006. The plan is to construct seven more. Through your help, Pix-Aid would like to try to raise funds to construct three of these schools.
